Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Network Storage Engineer to join our team inAnaheim, CA. .

Job Responsibilities:
The Storage Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, management, and support of all SAN/NAS related hardware, middleware, and software, which provides data and archival services to all client applications.

  • Provide advanced technical engineering and support for SAN/NAS/Backup hardware, middleware, and software.
    Provide technical expertise and perform tasks for all related infrastructure projects, including business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Provide 24x7 support of the SAN/NAS infrastructure environments.
  • Provide day to day support and guidance to storage support associates, including scheduling, performance evaluations, goal setting, and technical mentoring.
  • Work closely with business and I.T. associates, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain the storage infrastructure environment additions and changes.
  • Work closely with business departments to define and maintain data policy and process related to data creation, retention, and destruction, which support compliance and regulatory mandates.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

    Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of technical experience in current enterprise level SAN/NAS storage design, networking, configuration, capacity management, troubleshooting and support (EMC Symmetrix, Clarion CX/CDL, Centera, Celerra hardware) preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in a technical role as a team leader or engineer preferred
  • 3-5 years experience working with SAN/NAS management software, including EMC ControlCenter, Navisphere, PowerPath, DiskXtender, and other related software preferred
  • 3-5 years experience working with TCP/IP LAN/WAN networked servers (Windows) and backup software/hardware devices (Veritas/KVS/ADIC) and SAN connectivity devices (Fibre Channel technology, McData and/or Brocade switches) preferred.
  • Experience and understanding of Windows and SQL clustered servers

  • Basic level of expertise with Linux or other UNIX administration
  • Basic level of expertise with LAN/WAN network components and administration
  • Project management and documentation skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
