Work with cutting-edge technology at a leading Telecommunications Firm! Are you ready to be a Network Support Specialist with a leading Telecommunications Firm? Are you a self-starter with a desire for continuous learning? Then we have a position for you! In this role you will be required to dynamically multi-task across numerous issues and clients in a high-pressure SLA driven environment. You must have demonstrated data-networking knowledge and experience to include Cisco Routers, TCP/IP, and Circuit Troubleshooting. Required skills include: basic WAN/LAN troubleshooting/problem determination, advanced knowledge of Cisco Router troubleshooting/problem determination and maintenance, excellent understanding of routing and routing protocols, advanced understanding of TCP/IP, and Unix user skills. Any experience with Juniper Router troubleshooting and problem determination, MPLS experience, Cisco WAN Switching (IGX/BPX) troubleshooting and problem determination are desired, and any experience with Cisco Multi-Layer Switching troubleshooting/problem determination, Shell Scripting, VoIP experience, DNS/DHCP knowledge, and WAAS are highly desired! A Cisco Certification is strongly desired as well! This position requires a flexible worker who can provide 24x7 client support, so schedules can provide day, night, and/or weekend coverage.
