I'm representing a client who is looking for a leadership in bleeding edge technology in retail industry. The client has been in business for 150 years by carrying its upscale, high-end home accessory products who never stopped adopting new technologies and new ideas to grow the business. Located in downtown San Francisco, you will be working in a very harmonious, close-knit and progressive meritocracy community. You will be responsible for the IT operation and infrastructure along with a few other team members so you must wear multiple hats. You will also be part of exciting e-commerce initiatives by supporting the infrastructure that is customized for its unique business models.

Experience/Skills
Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, IIS 5.0, 5.1 and 6.0.
LAN/WAN
VMWare management
Network convergence, wireless and network security
Phone system management / VoIP
Active Directory configuration and Group Policy creation
Microsoft DNS, DHCP, Routing and Remote Access (VPN)
Strong skills in Windows (2000 and XP) operating system
Macintosh Operating System (OSX) is a plus but not required
Symantec Corporate Anti-Virus
Windows Server Update / migration / implementation / maintenance
VNC and Microsoft Terminal Server
Commercial backup software, Veritas Netbackup (or equivalent)
Remote management and scripting experience helpful
Excellent understanding of technology and the role of the "client" in relation to the larger IT infrastructure.
Good communication skills, able to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with co-workers and customers
Self-starter, energetic, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
Must have strong business acumen and have the potential to become IT translator into business.
Process automation using commercial automation technologies
Prefer MCSE/MCSA/CCNA
ITIL certification a plus
