Description
Our client is a very prestigious law firm, headquartered in San Francisco down town. They're looking for a network administrator to be a member of network operations team, reporting to Network Operations Supervisor with 3 other team members. This client provides lots of training and workshops and constant upgrades and conversion so there will be lots of learning opportunity. Responsibilities are 50% LAN/WAN switches and 30% server admin and 20% desktop support admin. Personality / soft skills is as important as technical skills-must be eager and easy to communicate. Management style: hands off, self motivating, taking initiative, highly encouraging learning and growing. iManage WorkSite and Hummingbird document management system experience is a big plus. Experience/Skills
Must have solid understanding of the following: Cisco Switches and Cisco IOS Software, VLAN, VLAN tagging, configuring ports, trunking Windows operating systems, Window server management VPN configuration and administration Wide area network hardware and software TCP/IP routing and switching and related protocols Network security, industry standard security protocols This position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to meet the needs of a highly technical, fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
