Overview
Position is responsible for system hardware design and deployment of Windows operating environment based applications for Dreyer’s business functions. Interface with business users to develop technical specifications based on functional requirements. In depth understanding of application workload modeling including I/O, memory and processor architectures is required for ensuring hardware architectures support business service level requirements. Training material development and mentoring of junior level personnel.

Position Requirements
Technical
  • 15+ years experience with Windows Server Operating System
  • 5+ years experience with United Modeling Language for process flow design
  • 5+ years experience with Linux Operating System
  • 5+ years of hands-on networking experience preferably with Cisco based infrastructure
  • 3+ years architecting and deploying VMWare Virtualization environments
  • 2+ Years Experience working with MS SQL Server
  • 2+ Years Experience with .NET Development (C#, VB Script)
  • 2+ Experience with Linux operating system scripting
  • In-depth experience architecting MS Windows Server infrastructure for the enterprise
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying MS Active Directory environments
  • In-depth experience designing and securing MS Exchange in complex enterprise environments
  • Development of Proactive System / Application Event Monitoring
  • Demonstrate practical, in-depth knowledge of information technology architecture derived from documented project experience

    Specific Responsibilities
    The primary role of Network System Analyst III position is to architect, build and deploy Windows based infrastructure across the entire Dreyer’s application landscape. This includes direct interface with both internal and external Dreyer’s business users to gather application requirements and associated service levels. The role is the primary interface to the Project Management Office (Project Managers) for delivering hardware related capital costs and input on project schedules.

    Based on requirements the role is required to develop and deliver the following:
  • Baseline infrastructure designs
  • Technical requirements documentation
  • Hardware specifications and supporting bill of materials
  • Test and deployment project plans
  • Standard operating procedures for level I & II support team

    Following business requirement alignment the role is responsible for managing all technical aspects for system testing and deployment.

    REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Certified MCSE (Microsoft Certified Engineer) or MCA (Microsoft Certified Architect)
