My client is the nations premiere provider of cusomtized managed services. They are looking for a Network Technician to provide support oniste to client in Folsom, CA. Scope of Work Provide LAN network break fix support at well as network project task support as called upon by Global Operations AMR. Responsible for the repair, installation and preventive maintenance of all LAN network equipment to include:  Network switches, Network routers, ENMS systems, WLAN AP, Asset tracking, Safety, PM schedule, When called upon must complete tasks related to network projects and will be billed at T&M rates for network technician. These duties may include:  Rack switches and other network equipment, upgrade IOS on new switch install, install provided configuration on new network equipment install, asset tracking, safety,  Tasks related to add/move/change for server/workstation/fab tools  Port capacity and electric circuit audits in fabs and Data Centers  Hardware replacement, including Cisco Supervisors and line cards, blade switches, and WLAN access points  Locating rogue APs and other sources of interference to WLANs  Asset Audits (AMBWAs), A/M/C, and CIR, as well as P100 and MSS compliance monitoring and auditing.  Dispositioning of SNMP Alerts (investigate and if needed open a GEMS ticket and resolve the issue)  Project support including scoping and post-implementation cleanup  Port disconnections as required by an ITERP event. Disconnection request come from GEMS ticket during sustaining times, but will require ESP tool monitoring for crisis times.  RMA equipment back to the supplier when needed as related to break/fix and project activity.  If required by your site you will be responsible spares inventory tracking for servers, network, and their related components. Services expectations for network support: 1. Business Hours: Monitor GEMS ticket assignments from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Monday through Friday (time zone of specific site). Overtime rates will apply as defined by contract when applicable. After hours on-call will be required at all sites listed as 24 X 7.
