JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is in need of a Network Wireless-Engineer for a contract position.
This opportunity is located in Arlington, VA

This is an 6+ month contract position

Must be US Citizen and have an Active Secret Clearance

We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this position.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
This is a customer facing position. Serve as a member of network, server, desktop and wireless team. Revamp wireless policy documentation. Responsible for server integration, deployment activities on new and existing wireless networking systems. Implement and monitor the technical operation, specifications and administration of wireless network. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and outages for both wired and wireless TCP/IP network. Work with the customers to provide guidance for securing wireless 802.11 LANs, network penetration, handheld devices, server operation, laptops, Blackberries, Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for the Network Wireless-Engineer position need the following experience:

Required Skills/experience
. 2+ years of experience in a wireless communications environment, with emphasis on client support (A Must to have)
. 1 year of Nessus Vulnerability Scanner from Tenable Network Security
. Experience with Cisco wireless controllers (WCS) and access points (AP) is highly desired
. 2+ years of Symantec Antivirus (SAV) - 10.1.7.7000
. 7+ years experience administering and implementing network solutions on Microsoft Windows 2003.
. 2+ years of experience with laptop configuration, imaging and testing required on Microsoft Windows XP.
. 2+ years of experience with wireless LAN 802.11 policies and procedures
. 1+ years of experience with wireless security and network penetration testing
. General hardware knowledge - prefer HP Servers (G3/G4/G5)
. A team player; strong verbal and written communication skills
. Active Secret clearance (Minimum Requirement)

Preferred:
. Bachelors' degree or equivalent: Information Technology related field
. 1 year experience administering Citrix Metaframe XPe. Experience in managing Citrix Profiles in a Windows AD environment (a plus)
. Desired certifications include: MCSE, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CWNA or CWSP

Additional Qualifications:
. MA or MS degree
. Ability to work from many environments, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix systems
. Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 or 4.5
. Microsoft Windows Server 2008, MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007

Clearance:
. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Active Secret clearance is required.
