Responsibilities and Technical QualificationsSpecific Description Inventory network communications hardware, check labeling is correct on network equipment and fiber patches, verify network documentation is correct and update in a Visio format. Rework RJ-45 patches cables, remove old unused RJ-45, fiber patch cables and install wire management when necessary within communication cabinets. The applicant coordinates repairs along with work around when necessary.Participate in the installation and/or removal of necessary communications systems hardware. Back ground in network environments, network switches, Visio network documentation, fiber and cabling patching. Knowledge of Cable Plant Infrastructures.
