Description
Synergis is currently working with a large utility company located in the Birmingham, AL area to help them locate a Network Specialist. This job will be assisting our client with building a new computer room and install additional equipment in a few locations in the southeast. Some travel may be required, but the primary responsibility will be in Birmingham , AL . This will be a 6 to 12 month assignment with possible extensions.

Preferred candidates will have:

Hands-on Windows 2003 Domain Administration, DNS administration, RSA Administration

Patch Management (Shavlik NetChk Protect), Basic Network troubleshooting, VPNs

Network switches, Firewalls, Wiring and patch panels.

Build and Rack Servers and Desktop workstations.

Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition Management

Dell server Hardware, Windows Cluster knowledge, Windows Virtual server knowledge.

MCSE a plus but not required.
