Project Description
Under direction of the OMH Project Manager, the Specialist 3 assignments will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Work with Central Office IT staff in Central Office and each OMH Psychiatric Center to support in Novell Server environment including Novell Clustering utilizing a IBM 8100 Storage Area Network (SAN), and distributed EMC SANS as well as Novells Clustering utilizing Novells iSCSI mirrored SAN, GroupWise eMail Administration, Novell eDirectory configuration and Business Continuity.
Provide technical design, implementation and troubleshooting support for the Novell File and Print services, Novell OES Linux/Suse Linux, GroupWise eMail, Directory Synchronization and Citrix server environment. This support will be for over 100 Novell NetWare Servers that support the core office automation functions of email, file and print for over 16,000 users including over 30 remote sites.
Provide technical advisement, system integration and support for migrating Novell Netware file/print and GroupWise clustered Servers to Novell OES Linux clustered servers.
Provide technical design, implementation and troubleshooting for archiving aged user email from current native GroupWise system to SAN storage using NEXIC Discovery software.
Provide ongoing support to OMH Blackberry users and Web based email system.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements utilizing Novells Identity Manager for Directory synchronization between Novells eDirectory and Active Directory.

Mandatory Requirements
1. Novell Certified Network Engineer with certification at the Netware 5.x level or higher.
2. Novell/GroupWise account creation and dministration at the 6.x level or higher.
3. eDirectory/Active Directory synchronization
4. Trouble-shooting techniques including:
a. server mirroring
b. Novell and Novell iSCSI clustering
c. user login problems
d. user permission problems
e. windows-based client/server access problems
f. network printer problems
5. Novell Cluster services and Novell iSCSI Clustering
6. Novell OES Linux/SUSE Linux Enterprise Sever.
7. Proficient with NDPS/iPrint network printing.
8. Knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of end-user training materials.
9. Experience in technical writing and developing/documenting administrator standards and procedures.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Requirements
1.Knowledge and Novell/GroupWise integration experience using the following products:
a.Biscom
b.Caminosoft
c.Nexic
2. Knowledge and experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server and Blackberry support.
3. Demonstrated experience with Health Related organizations.
4. Experience with large government organizations.
5. Project management skills.
6. Experience with HIPAA regulations.
7. Experience with an AD deployment.
