Description
Robert Half Technology has on-going requirements for ORACLE Database Administrators. These opportunities are with our clients in the Kansas City area. Successful candidates will have experience with the following skills:Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of ORACLE database systems; this will include production, test, and development database environments in ORACLE 9iAS and 10g. Monitoring and optimization of database performance, security, resource utilization, memory configuration, sessions, archive logs, and disk space usage. Tune SQL queries used by applications and provide suggestions to development for performance improvements in SQL and PL/SQL code.

Experience/Skills
Experience as an Oracle DBA with 9iAS and Oracle 10.g Experienced using Linux or UNIX (SUN, AIX) operating systems for Oracle 10.g Oracle Software installation and new database setup Oracle DataGuard experience with both logical and physical environments ORACLE RAC and RMANORACLE Cluster ExperienceBackup and recovery Performance monitoring and tuning Extensive PL/SQL Scripting experience
