Summary
In this role you will have a high degree of responsibility working on highly automated drilling rigs around the globe, delivering our unique risk mitigation and problem remediation services for Rig and Drilling Control Systems.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
Two to seven years of automation/control systems experience
Experience with software and control systems development
Strong communication skills, including writing and technical documentation skills
Demonstrated ability to perform on a team
Passion for traveling and working on a rotation schedule: 14-28 days offshore or abroad
One to two years consulting experience

Preferred
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Oil & Gas industry experience, especially upstream and/or offshore
Hands-on software development experience
Experience with project management tools and techniques for software projects: eg, project planning, risk management, issue tracking, configuration management, version control.
Software Quality Assurance and testing experience
Experience working in politically challenging environments
Computer network experience
Electronics troubleshooting experience
Experience with equipment from vendors such as NOV, Weatherford, Oceaneering, Cameron, Hydril, Kongsberg, L-3, Emerson Process, Raytheon, Honeywell, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
Offshore safety certifications
