Job Description:

This role requires the skills of a creative and diverse individual. The role consists of several inter-related objectives. The primary objective is to create and develop, and/or update on-line courses, CBTs, and Webinars using Macromedia Flash, Captivate, and/or other relevant web development tools. Secondly, this role will be key to maintaining and improving Training Partner, our current Learning Management System. A third objective is to maintain and improve the Education Services web site. Finally, this role may be required to perform training on an as-needed basis. This role will be responsible for working with the entire education team, marketing managers, documentation specialists, and developers in the development of on-line courseware. Other duties may include, working on special projects as needed and gaining practical field experience. This position is based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Use create talents to design and develop high-quality interactive, on-line courseware, CBTs, and webinars
  • Interact with IS to further develop and maintain Training Partner, our LMS
  • Maintain and improve the Education Services web presence
  • Perform training on an as-needed basis
  • Maintain courseware standards for all Interactive courseware. Working in conjunction with the education team members, facilitate a spirit of cooperation to meet varied objectives of the team.
  • Participate in developing an internal education strategy for additional education of ININ/Vonexus employees on topics and technologies necessary for their jobs.
  • Participate in practical field projects, maintain technical certifications, obtain new certifications, and pursue professional development goals that increase personal job satisfaction and professional value to the department.
  • Develop and maintain test system for the purpose of testing new products and development course & lab content.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the overall value, morale and teamwork of the department.
  • Participate in projects to help market education both internally and externally.

Skills Required:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent Computer Science or similar
  • Minimum of two years experience with Macromedia Flash
  • Ability to work in a team environment is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to address complex problems with minimal direction
  • Familiarity with Client/Server computing
  • Experience with course development software tools (e.g., DreamWeaver, Framemaker, Word, Powerpoint, or similar ) given additional consideration
  • Technical Instruction experience given additional consideration
  • Programming background or familiarity with programming concepts given additional consideration
  • Telephony experience given additional consideration
  • Windows 2000/2003, Microsoft Exchange experience given additional considerationdf-tc
