We are seeking an Online Community Coordinator for a 6-month contract in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
- Working onsite Thursday Monday from 11 a.m. 7 p.m. and working remotely on Saturday and Sunday.
- Under general supervision, supports Website with its online community and e-mail distribution efforts.
- Monitors user generated content and feedback on a daily basis
- Executes and coordinates online email campaigns to meet the needs of internal business units, service providers and online audience.
- Ensures enewsletters are distributed as scheduled.
- Final quality assurance for all email campaigns to make sure desired needs can be tracked and reporting upon.
- Responsible for scanning metrics, looking for trends and keeping us with Industry Standards for email delivery.
- Welcomes new users to the community and generates and encourages online conversations among community users.
- Assists in the moderation of disagreements and removes inappropriate content.
- Troubleshoots user reported issues and provides daily feedback to the users of website
- Provides ongoing technical support to users of website.
- Responds to general email inquiries from users and "how to" questions about site features.
- Responsible for scanning metrics, looking for trends and keeping us with Industry Standards for support Online Communities.
- Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:
- This position required the ability to communicate with online audience and to foster community growth through engagement.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- Proven ability to manage numerous projects concurrently
- Extremely detail oriented
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, HTML and the Internet
- Proven ability to manage conflict and stressful situations
- Proven team building skills
- Ability to focus resources on meeting commitments to Website users.
