Operations Research Analyst/operations engineer to lead all technical aspects of a multi-phased analysis of the US Army Medical Dept's anticipated business processes for the delivery of health care in the future. Purpose of analysis effort is to improve distribution and use of information across entire range of military operations from battlefield to sustaining base.

Responsibilities:

*Research existing documentation and participate in working level meetings with the client
*Identify and describe the business processes required to enable the desired operational concepts
*Conduct structured interviews of Health Services subject matter experts to identify and capture desired attributes for information exchanges required to enable the business processes
*Analyze and decompose the desired business processes into fundamental components for storage in a Microsoft Access-based information repository and modeling tool
*Utilize relational database concepts and capabilities in Access to model proposed operational concepts, force structures and operational capabilities and produce outputs identifying information exchange requirements.

Requirements:
*Proficiency with MS Office products (Access, Powerpoint, etc).
*Proficiency with IDEF 0 Function modeling and IDEF 3 Process Flow Description Modeling using AllFusion/BPwin; knowledge of military health system, health system business processes and battlefield information systems.df-tc
