Location : Orangeburg, NY, 10962
Duration : 6 months +

Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, and standards. Also the candidate with C/C++ development experince preferred. Total experience expected is 7 to 10 years with Oracle 10G DBA experience of 1 year preferred. 80% of DBA experience + 20% of Application development experience preferred. Brief list if tasks expected from the consultant are:

1. Helping team in SQL, PL/SQL Development & debugging them
2. Review and Tune SQLs, PL/SQLs
3. Suggesting the best practices on AQs and XMLDB
4. Implementation of XMLDB & tuning
5. Research New Oracle technologies
6. Resolving MTAS application Oracle related issues in DEV, QA, and UAT environments
7. Pro-actively monitoring the Databases for any issues
8. Physical design of the database
9. Shell scripting
10. Analyze the AWR reports and suggesting on database tuning
11. Co-coordinating installation, upgrades with Prod DBA Team and oracle Customer supportdf-tc
