Global Technical Talent is currently looking for a Sr. Oracle Application DBA - 5 month contract in NH with 2 week travel to the U.K.The first two weeks will be in the UKThrough June the work hours will match the UK timezone. The remainder of the work will be performed in NHMust be able to communicate effectively with technical resources as well as managementMust produce detailed and clear documentation for all milestone activitiesApps/DBA1.Plan for, manage and execute an upgrade of Oracle Applications from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10. The upgrade will include the relocation of the system to new servers. Current and target servers are HP. This is a production system.2.Other products, including Taxware and Clear Orbit, will also be considered in the relocation3.Clone Oracle Applications4.Load balance Oracle Applications5.Implement Oracle Workflow6.Manage and resolve issues/TARs7.Transition responsibilities to client?s teamSystem Architecture1.Must be experienced with HP servers and competent in UNIX, vi editor, and basic UNIX system administration2.Must be experienced with hardware load balancing for the middle tier on a 3-tier server configurationOracle Applications System Administration1.Create menus2.Manage responsibilities3.Create and manage Oracle Alert alerts4.Manage Oracle Workflow5.Create a formal System Administration configuration document.
