Acentron is seeking a Database Administrator with both Oracle and SQL Server DBA skills for a full time opportunity in Greensboro, NC. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience architecting and supporting transactional and Datawarehouse databases in Oracle 10g and SQL Server 2008 in both development and production environments. Must have experience with Datamodelling, capacity planning, performance tuning and optimization and be equally strong in both databases.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with system certifications being preferable. Only candidates with experience in Oracle 10g and SQL Server 2008 including RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control, SQL replication and Clustering, SQL Profiler, DTS and strong performance tuning skills will be considered. Must have experience with Unix Sun Solaris as well as strong PL/SQL, T-SQL and Unix Scripting experience.
