Description
Results-oriented team member with good communication skills responsible for Oracle DBA activities in production support, development, and quality assurance environments. Candidate will have extensive involvement with other DBAs, developers, implementers and quality assurance team members. Candidate must have the ability work with a variety of Oracle releases, including 9i, and 10g, with solid experience in fundamental database administration, database and application tuning, backup and recovery methods, load sharing and general database administration best practices.

Experience/Skills
Expert knowledge of Oracle architecture and utilities. Minimum 4+ years experience in database administration specifically in Oracle 8.x, 9.x, 10.x on various platforms (Unix, NT, Win2K+), Knowledge of TOAD, SQL Plus and PL/SQL to develop and maintain SQL scripts. Demonstrated ability to optimize applications and databases to improve system performance
