Description
Oracle Database Administrator / Developer.  Experience in database architecture and design.  Knowledge of Oracle 8i, 9i & 10g (11g a plus). Knowledge in Oracle Back up/Recovery best practices.  Installing Oracle on Windows/Linux/UNIX.  Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid Control, and/or Dataguard preferred.  General UNIX Administration experience.  Proven experience with PL/SQL including writing and optimizing code in PL/SQL. Tuning and Troubleshooting.  Experience configuring and maintaining highly scalable environments.

Experience/Skills

Minimum of 3 years Oracle Database Administrator experience.  Familiarity with Oracle 9i, and 10g; PL/SQL; Windows/UNIX.  Preferred Skills:  Oracle Real Application Clusters; Oracle Grid Control; Oracle Dataguard; Oracle RMAN; Oracle Application Server (a plus).  Certification in Oracle 8i or higher, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
