Description
Our client is seeking an Oracle Financials SME on a permanent basis for a location in Dallas, TX. This Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert will support the Oracle Financial Systems. This is a full time position that works closely with the Information Systems department and the Accounting department. For this position, you will support end-users by training them and solving any problems they may have.

Your responsibilities will include:
??Providing functional support/user assistance for the accounting month-end close
??Resolving cross-functional issues
??Testing of patches and upgrades
??Training and documenting processes
??Managing technical assistance requests (TAR) with Oracle
??Performing set-ups for all needed changes to Oracle
??Create and change/modify FSG Reports
??Update budgets as needed and create/update budget templates
??Provide ad hoc reports analysis as needed
??Vendor 1099 processing and reporting
??Provide around the clock support to users during close process (Many journal import issues)
??Knowledge of importing Fixed Assets and GL balances into Oracle for acquisitions.
??Update/modify journal mapping table for Ceridian.
??Create audit files with journal details that tie to the Trial Balance Reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
??5+ years related work experience
??Significant experience in the following Oracle Financial modules: Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Accounts Payables, Oracle Fixed Assets (11.5.10)
??Experience with (Oracle Reports => XML Publisher => BI Publisher)
??Experience with SQL queries and especially merging/consolidation of financial information from field operations and extracting data for loading into data warehouse/datamarts
??Understanding of the underlying table structure of the Oracle Financial Applications
??Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
??Ability to define business requirements and identify system solutions
