CDI has an immediate need for an Oracle Developer to join our team


The Oracle Developer must have Oracle Applications ERP experience with Human Resource Management, Payroll and Benefits.
Formulate and define system scope and objectives. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering hardware capacity and operating limitations.

Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of computer systems.

Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts.

Develop and execute quality assurance test plans for unit, system, and regression testing.


This position is 70% technical and 30% functional.
Oracle Applications ERP 11i experience with Human Resources (HR), Payroll and Benefits.
Previous experience with HR/Payroll systems is a must.
Ability to develop complex SQL queries.
Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
Extensive full life cycle development experience.
Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports.
Expertise in Conversion and Interface programming using PLSQL.
Understanding of information technology standards, procedures and best practices.
Understanding of how to analyze and solve business problems.
Thorough understanding of and ability to apply system development methodologies.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of technical and business personnel.
Experience designing, developing and maintaining information technology systems.
Experience participating in project teams.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing,
with groups from diverse backgrounds and technical abilities.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, work under pressure, adapt to demanding situations and maintain schedules.


Technical Expertise: Oracle Applications: Financials (Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits), Oracle 10g Developer Suite, Microsoft Visio, PL/SQL.df-tc
