Description
CDI has an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Reports Writer/Analyst in the St. Louis area. This is a full-time position.


Educational and Professional Requirements:

B.S. Degree in a related area preferred with 2+ years of Oracle Report Writing experience in 11i.

Projects in school and or certifications can supplement minimum experience level.

Must have the aptitude to learn and advance quickly.

Attention to detail, persistence, people skills, and communication skills are a must.


Job Summary:

Primary responsibility for development of printable reports for Oracle applications using Oracle Developer, Discoverer and XML Publisher.


Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent people and customer service skills.
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Manufacturing, Inventory, Shipping, Financials experience.
Oracle report development experience using Oracle Developer.
Pl/Sql development exposure.

Heavy querying experience for reporting against Oracle 11i ERP tables.

Oracle PL/SQL development.
Knowledge of the Oracle standard interfaces (API’s)


Preferred:

Experience with Discoverer and XML Writer
Experience with Optio
Ability to use source control packages


Functions and Responsibilities:

Will take prioritized list of reports to be developed for internal clients and build reports daily with the Oracle Reports tools.

Person will be working with little structure, basically a list of prioritized tasks and expected to manage their time to get work done efficiently.

Applicant must be a self starter and able to complete tasks with little direction and resourceful enough to get questions answered, not wait on someone to tell them what to do next.


Experience/Skills

Oracle 11i ERP Report development.
Oracle PL/SQL development
(stored procedures, constraints and triggers)
Experience in Manufacturing Environment.
Knowledge of the Oracle standard interfaces.
Ability to use source control packages.
Oracle BI Dashboard development and XML publisher a plus.
