Description
Will serve as an Oracle Technical Resource. ? Responsible for the quality of the technical solution being developed through the development of extensions, reports, conversions and interfaces. ? Participate in development of the conversion, testing and reporting strategies. ? Provide expertise and knowledge in the technical architecture of Oracle applications/database. ? Responsible for provided technical direction to the technical team ensuring deliverables are produced on time. ? Review and approve all logical and physical database design work. ? Participate in the monitoring and resolution of Kintana issues. ? Work with ePM Project Leader on developing baseline estimates. ? Responsible for ensure that all code development is unit tested in a comprehensive manner and link testing is conducted on extension work. ? Review all functional specifications from the functional team to address any technical issues of concerns. ? Review and approve all technical specifications. ? Enforce appropriate standards, tools and methodologies including configuration management, software development processes and security technologies. ? Report to the Project Leader with regards to project status, outstanding issues, areas of risk, staffing levels, technology needs, infrastructure needs, etc. ? Participate in the planning of post-production activities. ? Perform application development functions to include but not limited to the following: o Work closely with the functional team members to understand the requirements. o Design, develop, and document application development o Conduct comprehensive unit and link (if applicable) tests. Documents test results. o Develop Kintana installation packages. Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: -Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Security Clearance. -Work experience in Oracle Project Manager, Oracle Projects (Costing & Billing), Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Accounts Payable and Receivable, Oracle Human Resource Management, and Oracle Workflow. -Experience designing relational databases and writing SQL. -Experience developing Oracle extensions in a 10g environment. -Experience with Oracle 10g Portal. -Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation. -Knowledge of the Oracle's Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and other software implementation methodologies. -Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
