Ajilon Consulting is seeking a WebLogic / WebLogic Portal 10 Administrator / Engineer to support our client.

In this position, you will be responsible for Portal infrastructure support, deployment, administration and engineering of Oracle WebLogic and WebLogic Portal. You will also be responsible for implementation, hardware design and architecture while working in a Sun Solaris environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
. Maintain and administer WebLogic Portal Infrastructure.
. Work with developers during development phase to integrate their application into WebLogic portal.
. Provide 24x7 rotation environment support.
. Plan, coordinate, and implement standards, as well as recommend changes to improve performance.
. Deploy and implement standard web services using Apache
. Coordinate installation of new hardware/software; installs, tests, and monitors the operation of hardware/software; configures hardware/software to meet project goals.
. Debug application issues.
. Handle scheduled code deployments.
. Build and maintain web servers such as Sun One iPlanet, Apache, and IBM HIS.
. Work with other application teams to integrate the application together.

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:
. 5+ years experience with WebLogic and WebLogic portal 10 administration, deployment and support
. Experience working in Sun Solaris platform.
. Experience with WebServers such as iPlanet, IHS and Apache
. Experience with / understanding of infrastructure components such as load balancer, dns.
. Strong trouble-shooting, redundancy and recovery procedures, and monitoring systems is required.
