Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oracle database administration, to include application database implementation and maintenance, space management, backup & recovery, problem resolution, RDBMS software implementation & maintenance, & database related security.

Ensure performance, reliability, availability and integrity of Oracle databases; analyze, design, implement and maintain databases and database objects in a client server environment supporting customer business applications.

Responsible for the design and integrity of database structures in a multi-user environment.

Develop and enforce database standards and procedures; analyze data and process requirements.

Review systems and programming designs to ensure efficient use of database resources; interface with operations database support group on production problems.

Monitor database performance statistics and recommend improvements; implement and maintain Oracle relational database management (RDBMS) software.
