PC Desktop Installers - THREE

Newton, IA ASAP

PC Desktop Technicians for this project. These individuals must be A+ certified or hands on equivalent and must have a solid background in PC deployments

Starts the week of December 5, 2005 - two-day deployment


The Newton site will be deploying 30 desktop PCs.

The scope of work will require the technicians to perform the following tasks.
- Inspect all shipping cartons and components to ensure that everything is available to complete the installation.

- Setup up the new Dell systems as outlined in the technical installation documentation.
- Capture all Dell service tag numbers and report these to the Dell/ISA project manager
- Clean up all installation trash and remove to customer-designated area for disposal.

Out of Scope: The out of scope work includes the following tasks.
- Network cabling or AC power related activities
- Routing of cables between rooms, through conduits or ceilings

Customer Responsibilities:
- Provide access to installation site and new hardware
- Provide all AC power connections and LAN cables


Dress Code: Business casual
- Shirt must have a collar (No T-shirts)
- Dress pants - i.e. Dockers or khakis (No blue jeans)
- Casual dress shoes (No tennis shoes)

Site Security: Photo ID (i.e. Drivers License) is required to obtain security access to building.

Parking: On-site parking is available.

Special Instructions: The lead technician should contact the ISA project manager upon arrival on site to confirm their arrival and at the end of the day to provide a brief status report.df-tc
