BASIC FUNCTION
The position has a minimal experience skill level that answers and
handles incoming calls to the Technology Service Center desk. Perform
problem recording, diagnostics and resolution. Uses knowledge database,
software tools, hardware tools and internal IT personnel as resources to
perform problem diagnostics, resolution and increase skill level.
Responsible for attaining individual call and problem management
measurement goals.

Provide analysis, training and guidance to Kohler Co. associates on new
and existing software products. Provide direction in response to
inquiries from customers relative to their access to network resources
and the performance of their duties utilizing the appropriate tools.
Some examples of these tools are in the functional area of word
processing, presentation graphics, data base storage and retrieval,
spreadsheets and calendar/scheduling products in multiple operating
system environments.

This position has latitude for action or decision making processes
relative to detailed procedures and implementation tasks. Requires
approval before action or decisions are made pertaining to customer
service levels, department plans and designs. This position represents
an experience level of 14 to 16 months.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary function is to answer and handle incoming calls, record problems
using current problem recording software. Taking ownership of the
problem/question from start to finish performing problem diagnostics and
resolution.

Responsible for attaining individual call and problem management
measurement goals.

As one of the members of the Technology Service Center team, share in
performing administrator functions for all corporate local area and wide
area networks where required. This includes adds/changes/deletes of
users/groups, modification of login scripts, printer setups and system
configurations.

Responsible for testing, implementation, and maintenance of network
software applications where required. Provide guidance to Kohler Co.
associates on these software products.

Serve as a support resource to Kohler Co. associates, including all
remote facilities and subsidiaries within the Kohler Enterprise for
problems or questions on all products and services that pertain to all
Information Technology such as Personal Computer, Local Area Network and
Wide Area Network.

Participate in project teams, professional and user organizations as
approved.

Perform other related duties as assigned.df-tc
