CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people to help us grow! We are looking for a PCA Support Technician.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Benefited: Yes

The PCA Support Technician will:
1) Use PCA/PCB layout tools, including Valor Enterprise 3000, Board-station, EPDM, HPDL, Design Architect, and Board Architect.
2) Use Mentor tools and processes???including ability to create HPDL parts, train EE???s on schematic entry and PCB Designers on layout, and ability to bring in, beta test and trouble-shoot new SW versions on all Mentor and related CAD tools.
3) Work on Windows PC operating systems.
4) Work with electrical components, component data sheets and electrical footprints
5) Excellent communication, team-building, and customer satisfaction skills.

Required Skills:
5-7 years of applicable experience utilizing the above mentioned skills required to perform this role. Qualified candidates possess very strong Mentor and Valor experience.

Desired Skills:
1) Proven ability to work with many types of customers, including PCA/PCB HW R&D EE???s, ME???s, NPI Engineers, Marketing Engineers, Material Engineers, etc.
2) Extensive knowledge/skills on interface tools, such as MatrixOne, ICX, Valor.
3) Demonstrated written skills???ability to create and publish training manuals, process documentation, sophisticated flow diagrams
4) Willingness to work on layouts on a limited basis, as need exists.
5) Extensive knowledge of best practices on CAD tools and high speed (RF), very complex, large footprint, and controlled impedance designsdf-tc
