PHP Developer (LAMP Experience) (#8387-24-MH1423)

A Thompson Technologies client has an immediate need for a PHP Developer for a 6 month contract-to-hire in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, deploy and maintain custom applications and database systems
• Develop technical design and application requirements and specifications
• Perform system administration tasks as needed

Non-Technical Qualifications:

• Typically have five or more years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of SDLC
• Strong architectural/database/infrastructure knowledge
• Thorough understanding of the principles of object-oriented software design
• Strong requirements gathering experience
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to drive project from conceptual design through development
• Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills a must
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing technologies
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to apply UI best practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related

Technical Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of PHP and MYSQL (LAMP)
• Experience in Linux administration
• Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, AJAX
• Expertise in developing custom Web based applications and database systems
• Proficient in integrating Front End applications with multiple Back End databases
• Experience with rest-based APIs
• AI experience (nice to have)
• Knowledge of SalesForce.Com (nice to have)
