PL/SQL Developer Permanent

Our client, located in the Alpharetta area has a perm position available for a PL/SQL Developer with recent Datawarehouse experience!

This is a perm position with a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000

Responsibilities:

• Address a variety of database integration issues including migration between disparate databases, integration, maintenance/conversion, capacity planning issues, and new applications
• Play a key role in consulting Database Administrators on physical implementations of databases and optimizing database performance
• Work with application development teams to ensure that database changes adhere to best practices & are properly prioritized/scheduled
• Define monitoring requirements to prepare for deployment of these new database features

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree required, B.S. in Computer Science preferred.
• 3+ years of development experience
• 3+ years of PL/SQL
• Experience with development tools TOAD, SQL Navigator
• Experience with data transfer tools, protocols (ftp,scp,etc)
• Experience with Oracle 10g
• Problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must work well within a team environment, and be able to work with a diverse group of people.
• Must be local to the Atlanta metro area. No relocation provided
