Description
PM/Software Engineering Test Lead
Must have the ability to work both independently and collectively in a team environment. Must have knowledge/experience with Microsoft technologies, including be familiar with relational database technology (SQL based database technology) and familiarity with CRM solutions (Siebel is a plus). Candidate should be able to lead small focused meeting around problems and should have a good grasp of escalation paths for problems. Knowledge/experience with SQL Reporting Services (Rosetta) as well as the fast growing Analytics offering from Siebel Corporation is a definite plus. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred or 4 years related job experience.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
* Review testing deliverables (test plans, test specifications and
test schedules).
* Guide the offshore team with following established standard and/or
suggesting new standards when weaknesses are identified.
* Assist with problem solving and issue escalation with the Offshore
team.
* Suggest process and quality improvements throughout the SDLC.
* Attend and/or Leading bug triage meeting.
* Act as IC Test resource in areas that are either high risk and/or
low test coverage.
