Ajilon is looking for a Project Coordinator to work at a financial client in Jersey City, NJ. Will be responsible for providing timely, insightful project status and issue management. This is a key role for the Program Management Office in understanding and reporting the program/project status. The role will require significant interaction and collaboration with project managers to ensure that all required initiatives have project plans, timelines and metric reporting discipline.

Responsibilities include: Coordinate and manage, with key program/ project managers, status on projects, critical deliverables and milestones, risk, issues and changes to key factors such as time, scope or resource allocation; Ensure accountability from program/ project managers to deliver projects on time in line with PMO governance, control measurement and discipline; Produce regular status reports such as scorecard for senior management team reviews; To include the identification, tracking and resolving of program/project level risks and issues, and ensure a consistent process and approach across the program; Challenge and validate project level identification of risks and issues; Update projects in key tools such as Thought Web or Microsoft Project; Manage a number of ad hoc projects that require PMO attention; Write and publish PMO meeting minutes.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Required qualifications include: Program management experience, ideally with large-scale programs; Able to organize, simplify and effectively communicate complex data; Delivery focused, with follow through to closure; Strong verbal and written communication skills and time management skills; Ability to handle multiple demands in a changing environment; Self motivated; Attention to detail.

Desired qualifications include: Six-Sigma experience or other proven experiences with metrics/dashboard/scorecards; Financial Services industry experience and/ or Reference Data.
