Description
Deployment Specialist
Communicate and coordinate effectively with field based Site leadership and staff.
Become an expert in the functionality and use of newly developed Point of Sale application.
Ensure technical environment readiness (Specified PC hardware, ticket and report printers, cabling, scale indicator(s), PCAnywhere connectivey, video text insertion hardware are in place and functional.)
Set up data on scale house PC's and ensure proper configuration to PC peripherals.
Proactively communicate and address issues that arise during the deployment process.
Produce deliverables within aggressive timelines.
Adapt to frequently changing requirements and constraints on the business.
Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
Conduct customer training sessions on software application primarily in the scale house environment.
Build strong client relationships.
Effectively manage scope and time, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate multiple efforts with very aggressive timelines.
Effectively manage issues and risk without the need for excessive escalation to project/program manager.
Work with project team to track and communicate project schedules frequently with regular status meetings.
Identify local business and report requirements.
Conduct application testing of converted data by generating test tickets and running test reports.
Validate and sign off on acceptability of technical environment.
Provide on-site user support and validate user proficiency.
Validate daily upload and balancing of ticketed transactions in billing system with new source system.
Transition site to standard support process.df-tc
