Description
Principal Instructor

Basic Function:
Provides professional quality process control and IPS I/A Series System and InFusion product training to both customer and Invenys personnel. Working with direction, maintains/develops courses and provides input on course improvements or additions.

Responsibilities:
Teaches a variety of standard tuition and field courses to customer and IPS personnel

Modifies and/or customizes courses to meet specific customer needs per decisions with management and the customer.

Updates course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
Develop, test and implement new modules in support of standard courses with minimal direction.

Working with others, helps set direction for modifications to present courses and new course offerings.

Responsible for providing high quality education and identifies any problems to management.

Working with management and customer personnel, scopes out programs to meet customer needs.

Initiates suggestions for improvements or modifications of courses or facilities to support training.

Coordinates the availability of courseware and training materials with customers. Promote and sell training to customers.

Maintain and update course lab equipment.

May develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of courses and material.

Education: B.S. Degree in related discipline or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in the process control industry and/or technical education field. IPS system products experience in educational development helpful.df-tc
