Robert Half Technology is accepting applications for a Part-Time Desktop Support Analyst working at an environmental science and engineering consulting firm located downtown Seattle. The Part-Time Desktop Support Analyst will assist the IT Manager and staff in supporting and maintaining all computer systems in a professional, fast-paced and dynamic environment. While primarily consisting of end user support to 140+ users in a Microsoft Windows 2003/XP Pro environment, the Part-Time Desktop Support Analyst will also assist in basic Systems Administration of servers, workstations, desktops, laptops, printers, voice and voicemail servers, and technology-related peripherals.

Experience/Skills
  • The ability to troubleshoot computer problems via telephone, e-mail, and in-person while explaining technical terms and procedures to a non-technical audience.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows Client/Server Networking is required.
  • 1+ years “corporate real-world” systems experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining computers running Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003/2007
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server; Practical/work-related experience with GIS Products and Autodesk’s CAD software is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+ and Microsoft MCP certifications are both recommended.
