Job Description:
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience, and 2 years of public sector support experience.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience supporting or implementing PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials as a business or functional analyst or module lead.
  • Considerable knowledge and experience in implementing PeopleSoft Financials Release 8.8 (or higher) modules with a strong background in the following modules (in priority order): 1) General Ledger/Commitment Control; 2) Purchasing 3) Accounts Payable; and 4) Project Costing.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and its application in an ERP system environment.
  • Specialized skills and experience in PeopleSoft fit/gap analysis, application table setups, and detailed-level design.
  • Experience in system prototyping and fit/gap in a formal setting in front of a number of customer subject matter experts.
  • Comfortable with developing training curriculum and training end-users in a formal training setting.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 functionality (or later) in a state government or other public sector environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    Additional or Preferred Skills
  • 2 to 3 years of experience with the Texas version of PeopleSoft, known as the Integrated Statewide Administrative System (ISAS)or the Health and Human Services Administrative System (HHSAS)
  • 1 to 2 years experience with a Change Management tool such as STAT.
  • 1 year experience with Lotus Notes Developer.
  • 1 to 2 years experience with business process re-engineering efforts.
