Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a PeopleSoft Developer for a full time opportunity with a leading company in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Our Client is a leading provider of government services and is devoted to providing health and human services program management and consulting services to its clients. The Company has more than 6,000 employees located in more than 280 offices in the United States, Canada and Australia.

PeopleSoft Developer DBA
Job Responsibilities will include the following:

Install and maintain PeopleSoft software
Install and maintain PeopleSoft environments and associated databases
Perform PeopleTools upgrades
Install and maintain Oracle software
Setup and maintain Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
Perform database copies, exports & imports.
Perform database tuning for optimal performance.
Perform database backups and recoveries.
Perform Oracle Software upgrades and patches.
Perform Create Oracle accounts, reset accounts, define roles/policies.
Perform client assessments.
Assists in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
Develop DBA policies and procedures.
Provide problem solving and technical expertise in the Database Administration.
Develop project documentation including project plans and work effort estimation.
Evaluate new technologies/software and making appropriate recommendations.

Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university in computer science or related field or comparable experience that including Oracle Database Administration

Specific Experience:
Three years Oracle DBA experience is required included RAC and Data Guard.
Knowledge of systems development methodology and principles of project management.
Results oriented as evidenced by successful delivery of technology solutions.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortable in a fast paced deadline - oriented work environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Ability to work as a team member and independently.
