BGI is looking for a PeopleSoft Developer

*


This role will work with functional users in both Human Resources and Finance to provide technical solutions to business requirements by developing new software, troubleshoot and support existing PeopleSoft Modules.

*


This position is 60% operational support and 40% project based work.

*


In addition, 50% of your time will involve working on development, maintenance and upgrades for PeopleSoft HCM and Financials.

Candidate Qualifications

*


Successful candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical users.

*


Strongly prefer candidates who possess a business understanding of Human Resources and/or Finance function.

*


Must be detailed oriented with the ability to work within established timelines.

*


The position requires demonstrated problem solving/analytical skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to coordinate requirements from end-user community, build development proposals with technical specifications, and code and test enhancements.

*


Candidates must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

*


Computer Science, MIS degree or related field strongly preferred


Technical Skill Requirements

*


PeopleSoft HCM ver8.9 and Financials ver8.4 with 2-3+ years PeopleSoft development experience using PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Crystal and 2+ years Oracle and SQL experience with the ability to write and interpret SQL statements.

*


Pension module and eBenefits strongly preferred
(candidates with HCM background- with ebenefits and pension-ideally)

Experience in applying PeopleSoft bundles, patches and fixes, desired.
