Irvine Technology is looking for a PeopleSoft Developer for a full time position in Orange County.

Position: PeopleSoft Developer
Employment: Direct hire
Salary: 100K + Benefits
Start: ASAP

Candidate must have PeopleSoft HR and Financial modules.

Summary:

This position will be part of PeopleSoft Upgrade Team. Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Software Engineer analyzes requirements, develops solutions, and administers the PeopleSoft HRS and FMS applications. As part of the PeopleSoft Upgrade Team, this position will be responsible for the successful upgrades of these solutions to the company.

General Duties:

Consults with business unit management and personnel to gather business requirements information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements for the applications that are being upgraded.
Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
Writes and maintains technical specifications.
Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
Designs and codes screen layouts, workflows, graphical user interfaces, reports, and interfaces with other systems from business requirements.
Converts designs and specifications into computer code or application configurations.
Creates test plans and scripts.
Executes unit and system testing and works directly with business unit to support UAT.
Monitors performance of application after implementation.
Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. Analyzes system problems to find root causes of errors and revises environment appropriately.
Provides guidance and assistance to end users and technical support staff in the use of the PeopleSoft FMS and HRS/Payroll solutions.
Keeps abreast of new versions to assess trends and to guide the team through smooth implementations.

Requirements Preferred Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in information technology.
Seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of functional and technical hands on experience and expertise in the following PeopleSoft Human Resources modules: Benefits, Payroll, Payroll Interface, Enterprise Learning Management, Time and Labor.
Preferred secondary experience in PeopleSoft Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Cash/Deal Management, Expense.
Ability to consult with business unit management and personnel to gather information about program needs, and analyze and write technical specifications.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence in order to prepare and maintain technical specifications program documentation.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and groups of managers and personnel in order to consult and provide technical assistance.
Ability to provide guidance and training to less-experienced systems analysis and programming personnel.
