Description
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Developer to provide leadership, implementation, and ongoing technical support to an internal Human Resource Group.

The project team will be implementing PeopleSoft, integrating from Lawson and other third-party software into the enterprise environment. The successful candidate is someone who excels in understanding business processes and in evaluating and implementing enhancements to software.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, testing and support of HRMS interfaces to other corporate systems. Your team will be the cornerstone for the HRMS and financial software that becomes part of the corporate culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Technical Developer in the gap analysis, implementation, and support of PeopleSoft integrations and implementation efforts.
  • Coordinates and manages projects with third-party vendors and internal IT staff.
  • Serves as Project Team Liaison with human resource business partners to analyze impact of business process changes and new systems on existing systems and processes.
  • Partners with HR business units in the design, testing and deployment of system components such as reports and data source feeds.
  • Performs third-level technical support and troubleshooting of human resource systems and processes.

    Technical Skills Required:
  • 7+ yrs of Information Technology background
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft experience or related work experience on comparable ERP system.
  • 2-5 yrs of experience working with relationship databases; Oracle preferred.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools toolset (PeopleSoft 8.0+).
  • Experience with C++, HTML, and SQL desired.

    Business Skills Required:
  • Strong customer focus and demonstrated business ownership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of formal systems development life cycle methodologies .

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in MIS, Computer Science, or a relevant technical degree.

    Desired Skills:
  • Retail or consumer experience is a plus!
  • Ability to create integration plan and implementation effort for a Saba e-Learning Software and Peoplesoft HRMS, including required customizations such as corporate interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge in the area of Learning Management Systems; Saba experience a definite plus!
