Fortune 500 company in Atlanta is hiring a PeopleSoft Lead Business Systems Analyst for their Roswell location. This company has been rated as one of the TOP 100 BEST EMPLOYERS IN THE U.S.! Primary responsibility is to manage, troubleshoot and resolves PeopleSoft HR (8.9) technical application incidents and issues; coordinate issue resolution across teams; one of the central points of contact for HR technical application support; ensure the communication between teams is fluid and encourages collaboration; provide technical support and administration services for PeopleSoft (8.9) HRMS applications and related interfaces; recommend the design or redesign of production programs; devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems; assist with implementations of HR related projects projects; act as a liaison between users, outside vendors, developers and DBA staff to identify and implement solutions and best practices.

NATURE AND SCOPE

This position reports to the Manager HRMS Application Support. There are no positions reporting to the Lead Business Systems Analyst.

The primary focus of this position is supporting the PeopleSoft (8.9) application and its associated interfaces and third party applications. The incumbent must maintain a comprehensive functional and technical knowledge base relating to payroll, human resources, and employee benefits as well as the functionality provided by PeopleSoft products, and the customizations and interfaces that have been bolted on at Cox. This role consults with functional and technical teams for maintenance and troubleshooting of applications or processes; interprets information to determine root causes of problems or issues; prepares and implements recommendations and documentation regarding results of the analysis.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manages and supports production maintenance, interfaces, scheduled jobs, and performs software administration functions for PeopleSoft (8.9) and related interfaces or applications that may be custom built or purchased from outside vendors.




Experience/Skills
5+ yrs exp w/PeopleSoft HRMS Applications & PeopleSoft query

2. 5+ yrs functional experience w/ Human Resources, Benefits, or Payroll applications

3. 1-2 yrs in a systems or operational support role with troubleshooting experience

4. Proven technical experience working with PeopleSoft in a Linux & Oracle environment using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Messenger & SQR.
