The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a single focal point for all issues and tasks related to the Authoria and PeopleSoft integration. He/she will act as a liaison between the Tech Architecture team, the application Team, and all of the Operations teams (Networks, Facilities, etc.). As issues, problems, and other tasks arise, this person will determine which tech team to involve, and will then execute the appropriate procedures to bring closure to the issue.

This person will also be familiar with all of the development environment procedures, such as PeopleSoft Migration Control and Security, and will assist the PeopleSoft Architecture role in performing the day-to-day tasks associated with these procedures.

Development
-Reviews design packet or System Investigation Reports (SIRs) prior to start of coding focusing on the following:
-Functionality of modules
-Design specifications
-Design rules and guidelines
-Analyzes and codes work unit according to project standards and participates in the code review with the Team Lead or assigned reviewer in the team
-Conducts unit and/or integration/system test
-Creates test plan (test conditions, test cycles, test data and expected results)
-Documents actual results
-Obtains unit test and integration/system test sign-off of modules from the Team Lead and/or assigned reviewers
-Provides fix-it support as required
-Manages development and implementation of System Investigation Reports (SIRs)
-Analyzes SIRs and proposes resolutions
-Implements approved fixes as defined
-Submits SIRs to Team Lead for review and approval
-Implements changes in design, coding, and testing procedures and standards
-Provides functional and technical support during the construction and production phases
-Ensures timely issue resolution by communicating with the relevant personnel through direct communication, e-mails or conference calls when appropriate
-Reports issues and status of modules to the Team Lead
-Assists the Team Lead in the resolution of issues
-Applies Client Quality Management (CQM) techniques to project activities
-Conducts/arranges training and/or brown bag sessions for fellow Developers
-Participates in project meetings
-Train the user how to use the development environment, including stepping through the PeopleSoft Migration Control Procedures
-Be flexible with schedule to support a global software production model with offshore resources.
