PeopleSoft, Java, SQL Developers for Charlotte, NC

The Charlotte financial system is upgrading from PeopleSoft 8.0 to 8.9 which has downstream impacts on the Expense Reporting System (ERS). ERS is a standalone version of the PeopleSoft Travel & Expense module and it has tight integration with the PeopleSoft financial application. This project will be to modify the ERS system to support the finance upgrade, with scope to include:
Accounting codeblock changes (interface, page layouts, etc)
New routine for validating accounting codeblock
New interface process for sending GL uploads

Description of the work to be performed:

Translate functional requirements into technical requirements/designs.
Online coding using PeopleTools
Write and execute unit and string test plans
Support the system / user acceptance test cycles

Experience/Skills
3-4 years application programming and development work

2 years experience developing in PeopleSoft using PeopleTools

Experience in PeopleSoft online application development using PeopleTools 8.21 internet architecture

Experience writing complex PeopleCode

Experience in writing PeopleSoft business Interlinks

Proficiency in using SQL and RDBMS

Experience in Java development using JDBC

Experience in PeopleSoft Application Engine development

Analytical Thinker

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience writing detailed design specifications

Experience in translating functional requirements into technical requirements

Ability to work in a team environment

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
