We have an immediate need for a PeopleSoft Technical Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Required Skills (and other):
- PeopleSoft Financials (A/P, A/R, GL, Billing, etc.).
- PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management)
- PeopleSoft integration experience
- 8 - 10 years experience
- PeopleSoft 9.0
- PeopleTools - must stay current with upgrades and technology
- Must be hands-on.
- BA/BS in related field and/or 5 or more years experience in PeopleSoft HCM / Finance Systems.
- Must be self-motivated, and can work independently with little or no supervision in a small team.
- Must be an excellent communicator, with an assertive personality.

Prefer: Local candidates in the Chicago, IL area

Job Description:
- 80% support, 20% maintenance.
- Implementing PeopleSoft as clients new ERP system.
- Perform full life cycle software development.
- Requirements gathering, analysis, development and implementation of requested upgrades, enhancements.
- Interact with database administrators, security analysts and business system users.
- Make changes to PeopleSoft Financial, ESA and HCM applications.
- Provide technical support of applications working directly with clients in managing their requests, understanding their requirements and translating functional requirements to technical specifications through hands-on analysis.
- Diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft system related production errors to ensure the accuracy of corporate business critical systems.
- Implementation of PeopleSoft updates/fixes, application and PeopleTools upgrades.
- Resolve questions with respect to both maintenance and development activities.
- Participate in development of system test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate project status to Project Manager.

Job Requirements:
- Implement PeopleSoft HCM/Finance/ESA in a Global environment.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 and/or Oracle 10g.
- Minimum experience with HCM 8.9 and/or FSCM 8.8, HCM 9.0 and/or FSCM 9.0.
- Heavy technical understanding of PeopleSoft 9.x HCM and Finance modules.
- Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Change Assistant, DataMover, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler.
- Experience and knowledge of service oriented architecture.
- Experience in web server applications and web services.
- Monitoring and problem resolution of production PeopleSoft Integrations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and time management skills.
