Description
The PeopleSoft System Administrator works closely with Manpower technical and operational experts to deliver components required for a successful PeopleSoft implementation. This role encompasses a wide range of activities that could include designing, implementing, and supporting technical infrastructure deliverables. Will have worked on a technical infrastructure team and possess significant experience with PeopleSoft, AIX, Oracle and Windows technologies.

Key factors/differentiators:
- In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.x, the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, Open Integration Framework (OIF), and PeopleTools toolset.
- Demonstrated expertise with Application Designer, Application Upgrader, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, WebSphere/Weblogic, Application Engine, and Security Administration.
- Expertise in setting strategy and design of the batch processing architecture for PeopleSoft applications including job scheduling and control processing.
- Experience with international deployments (e.g., multi currency, multi language, alternate accounts, etc.).

Experience/Skills
Expertise in some of the following:
- PeopleTools release 8.4 +
- PeopleSoft Financials, sPro, and HRMS 8.x
- Oracle release 9i and above
- IBM's AIX 5L version 5.2 OS running stand-alone and LPAR'ed
- Microsoft Windows OS
- Knowledge of PS system performance tuning approaches and best practices
- Detailed understanding of Process Scheduler (multi-threading, report generation, distribution, etc.)
- Knowledge of Korn shell and perl scripting languages
