To help us continue driving their business forward, our client is in search of an experienced Senior Network Administrator - Perimeter Security at their San Antonio, TX location. APPLY TODAY, if your background includes:


  • Network Engineering and administering to include, but not limited to Cisco Switches, Routers, VPN Concentrators, ASAs, RSA, Websense, managed and configured Corporate Firewalls with Embedded IPS modules, wireless access points, IP telephony, video teleconferencing, Network Access Control (NAC), and Access Control Server (ACS).
  • Assisting with 3DES key encryption POS devices manufactured by Ingenico and other industry leading POS systems.
  • Support to all San Antonio located power plants and sub-stations as well as to remote users and external connecting contractors and contracting agencies.
  • Configure VPN/RSA external connectivity paths into corporate networks.
  • Attend meetings, plan and engineer projects based upon customer needs and mission requirements.
  • Work with VMWare Environment with 8 ESX host with over 300 virtual servers.
  • A network and storage departments containing over 4 petabytes of EMC/HP and Hitachi backups.
  • Conduct routine audit of servers, network IT security devices to ensure patches and compliances, IOS and rules were up to date, cleaned out accordingly.
  • Maintain a strong security posture with industry best practices for compliance (PCI, POS, NERC).
  • Assist in interviewing and emplacement of a full IT staff.
  • Compose security policies regarding Internet use and other user related IT policies.
  • Manage and work projects, support request and provide feedback to customers, users and supervisors as needed.
