Genesis10 is seeking a SCM Build Engineer in Milwaukee, WI

The SCM Build Engineer develops processes and executes them in support of the applications of the Risk Products domain.
The primary responsibilities will include:
. Software version controls, merge reconciliation, builds, and migrations for a diverse set of applications with technical underpinnings of J2SE, J2EE, .NET, unmanaged C++, and Visual Basic.
. Database change deployments, source, and version controlling.
. Quality Assurance configuration support and troubleshooting.
. Documentation and set up of build and development environments.
. Developing tools and utilities to enhance and automate the build and deployment process.

Experience/Skills
Must have exceptional interpersonal/communications skills.
. Must have strong trouble shooting skills.
. Knowledge and experience with a source code management tool (any: PVCS, cvs, etc.)
. Strong UNIX skills - file system, text editing, shell programming
. Strong scripting skills - Perl, plus (any: WSH, sed, and awk)
. Strong to intermediate build and packaging tool skills - Ant, NAnt, MSBuild, Wix, etc.
. Familiarity with Continuous Integration - Cruise Control.Net etc
. Familiarity with automated testing tools -JUnit, NUnit, etc
. Basic Familiarity with RDMS - Sybase and Oracle a plus.
. Some development experience (C/++/#, Java (J2SE/J2EE), etc.).
