This position provides technical leadership and guidence in the development or support of proposed and existing technologies.

Experience/Skills
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of IT experience combining dvelopment and leadership responsibilities.

Experience with System Development Methodology, tools, and techniques

Extensive knowledge in a subset of the following IT disciplines: artificial intelligence, imaging technologies, bar code technologies, performance analyses, research and development practices and processes, network and communication software and hardware, data modeling, data administration, database design, Information warehousing, structured system analysis and design methodologies, programming languages, file access methods, development tools, control languages, operating system and software, training, support processes, capabilities of hardware and software, business processes application
Demonstrated ability to translate IT theory into written business recommendations
Demonstrated effective leadership skills in motivating others

Technical Skills:

At least 5 years developing Java/J2EE applications through full project lifecycle.
Experience with Struts Framework.
Extensive use of core J2EE APIs
Familiarity with commercial J2EE IDE (WSAD, RAD, etc)
Experience with Spring, Hibernate and Java Server Faces.
Solid understanding of design patterns.
