Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Woonsocket, RI.

Job Responsibilities:
This individual will work in partnership with the Perot Systems Client Executive and Senior Leaders to provide results driven project leadership on critical projects supporting our Fortune 25 client. This individual must understand our client’s business problems, propose solutions utilizing Perot Systems capabilities and follow through on these ideas from inception to delivery of service to the client.

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks. The resource will manage Perot Systems, customer and third-party vendor resources while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used throughout the engagement to deliver an integrated solution. Act as a business partner in development, sales, service design, existing business growth, and delivery of new business for Perot Systems.

Furthermore, this resource will conduct kick-off meetings, makes presentations, and demonstrations, provides expert advice on PM practices. Implements quality and changes control procedures to ensure deliverables meet established goals. Assists Client Executive and Senior Leaders in capitalizing on business development opportunities with current customers. Monitors project costs to manage to the defined budget and reports variance. Makes adjustments to staffing and expense outlays, as required.

This individual will manage programs / projects simultaneously while leading on-shore and offshore project resources in a matrixed environment.

Finally, this individual may develop presentations and reports outlining account performance for the Account Senior Leaders and regional Healthcare Divisional Leaders within Perot Systems.


Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of Program / Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing business with existing clients, ideally within an outsourced environment
  • 5+ years of budgeting, forecasting and overall P&L experience / responsibilities and/or quantitative data analysis experience
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, heavy Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple project with varying size and scope simultaneously
  • Effective influencing skills and strong teaming capability
  • Highly effective oral and written communications skills

    Desired Skills:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within an IT outsourcing environment and/or a matrix managed environment
  • Proven success within a challenging customer environment
  • Experience implementing innovative technology solutions with emphasis on Applications technology side
  • Experience in one of the following industries: Healthcare Provider and/or Payer, Retail Pharmacy or Pharmaceuticals
  • Technical architecting experience is a plus
  • Experience in ITIL or Defense is a plus

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred

    Certifications:
  • PMP certification desired
